Tejidos Royo meets the criteria established in its code of conduct of international character guaranteed by amfori BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative)
Amfori BSCI unites over 1,000 companies around one common Code of Conduct with the aim to build an ethical supply chain with a step-by-step, development-oriented system. The Amfori BSCI Code of Conduct is built on the most important international conventions protecting workers’ rights, notably the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Conventions and recommendations.
As do all BSCI participating companies, Tejidos Royo has committed to implement the Code within its supply chain. These activities help build the knowledge, skills and ownership required to achieve sustainable improvements in social compliance.
By adhering to this code, Tejidos Royo reinforces the following values:
Tejidos Royo strives to further detail the root causes of any such adverse impact in human rights, especially in situations related to discrimination, remuneration, health and safety and protection of the environment, always based on ethical business behavior.
Amfori BSCI classifies companies into 5 categories (A - B - C - D - E) according to the degree of compliance with the principles.
